Few reasons. Firstly, I’m a germophobe. I shower multiple times a day, I don’t walk on surfaces without slippers or shoes on, I wash my hands all the time and my clothes pretty much every day. So obviously I see dogs as being dirty, I don’t like how they leave hair on your things and how they smell.

Second reason is that I was attacked by a large dog when I was younger which means I freeze up around dogs now. I’m genuinely afraid of them. We also once had a dog when I was younger that killed all our chickens and terrorised other animals in our neighbourhood. I see dogs as being really vicious and unpredictable.

Third reason is that I’m an extremely mellow person who naturally resists needy things with a lot of energy.

I would never wish anything bad on any dog and I appreciate that a lot of people love them. But as you can see I have my own reasons for my dog aversion.
